A once-in-a-lifetime wine dinner is coming to New York on October 11th, and there are still some seats left if you want to experience it for yourself.

Jancis Robinson OBE MW is hosting a dinner at Manhatta, 60 floors above the Financial District, to celebrate 25 years of JancisRobinson.com and 50 years of her wine writing. If you know her from The Oxford Companion to Wine or The World Atlas of Wine, you know what a moment this is.

The wine and food list is epic - here’s a summary:
- Pol Roger Brut Vinothèque 2006 (magnum) with passed canapés, including caviar
- Raw sweet shrimp with Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Kabinett 2001, Antinori Cervaro della Sala 2013 and Drouhin Clos des Mouches 2017
- Amatriciana with Torres Mas de la Rosa 2019, Beaucastel Hommage à Jacques Perrin 2001 and Vega Sicilia Único 2004
- Snake River Farms ribeye with Sassicaia 2011, Mouton Rothschild 2009 and Haut-Brion 2005
- Dessert with Hugel Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive 2005 Graham’s 1976 Tawny

Every guest also receives a signed copy of the new 9th edition of The World Atlas of Wine, and a portion of the proceeds supports The POLG Foundation.

If you’re in the NYC area, I’d love to see you there - and I have a code to get 50% off the ticket price! Use code WorldVIP50 and purchase your ticket here. If you’re willing to travel, this one is worth the trip.
